This site was created in 1998 by me, Danielle Kreeger, as a kind of virtual "bottle show table." It lets me continue to buy, sell, and trade antique bottles throughout the year - and connect with a much wider community of collectors.
Why did I start this? Simple: I'm a collector too. I'm not wealthy, and dealing bottles helps fund my own collection while giving me great connections in the hobby. Digging is in my blood, but dealing? That's where I get to interact with others.
New to bottle collecting? This site isn't the best place to start learning about antique bottles, but don't worry - there are fantastic resources out there. I recommend checking out:
I've also shared some of my favorite links on this site to help point you in the right direction.
What you'll find here. I focus on buying and selling medium/high quality, hand-blown bottles priced within reach for most collectors. You might see an occasional high-end piece, but I'm not aiming to compete with big auction houses. I do sell on eBay now and then when inventory builds up. If you have bottles to sell, scroll down or click here for more info.
Bottles for sale are grouped by category - check the menu on the left or navigation bar at the top. On the right, you'll see preview photos of bottles "on deck" that I plan to list soon. Each antique bottle gets its own dedicated page, so listings take time. Plus, it's getting harder to keep the site stocked: prices are rising, collections are drying up, and digging is hit-or-miss these days. Still, I'm thrilled to see the hobby going strong.
A little about me. I've been collecting antique bottles since 1969, starting on a farm in Pennsylvania where I dug local dumps. Getting my driver's license was a turning point - I could finally attend bottle shows, especially in York and Baltimore. From the start, I've been drawn to blob-top sodas and beers, and after more than 50 years, they're still my favorites.
My main collecting focus is pontiled sodas, beers, and mineral waters from the Philadelphia area. I also love unusual colors, shapes, and oddball pieces from elsewhere.
I'm a lifelong digger and have had the privilege of working with some of the best in the hobby. I've dug, water-searched, and metal detected across the U.S., Europe, and the Caribbean. My "privy journal" has over 800 entries! Outside the bottle world, I'm also an ecologist and a lifelong surfer - whether it’s work or play, I'm happiest outdoors in the water or mud.
Thanks so much for visiting my site. I hope you find something that speaks to you!.
