Here's a nice example of the Umbach Eagle (Russ Butler 10-420), a classic southern soda. Nice shape with a fat body, shorter shoudler slope, and fairly long neck - almost beveled.
Embossed: CHAS. A. H. UMBACH / SAVANNAH / GEO. // (left facing Eagle over shield with banner)
Color: grass green
Height: 7 7/8"
Top: applied blob
Base: weakly iron pontiled
Structural Condition: no damage of any sort. There is a no harm 1/4" shallow open bubble near the seam - probably was open on manufacturing and does not detract.
Surface Condition: this is probably a dug bottle with overall light wear and some pathy light haze/dullnness. Not at all bad and I like the natural patina. It could be polish cleaned, but the pontil is so weak already it would probably not be detectable if tumbled.
