James Ray Ginger Ale - Savannah

Circa 1885-1890 Savannah Soda - James Ray Ginger Ale

This bottle sings on the shelf witrh its showy deep purplish cobalt and character. A classic late 1800's southern soda. The blob top is applied. These ginger ale bottles are usually found with lots of case wear and issues, but this one has only the slightest high point wear in only a few spots.

Embossed in oval slug: JAMES RAY / SAVANNAH / GEO. // (vertical) GINGER ALE

Height: 8"
Color: deep purple-hued cobalt
blue

Condition: Nearest mint - structurally perfect with no dings, chips, cracks or bruises. It's pretty clean with only slight overall dullness. There are only a few wear spots which are light and mostly near the bottom - and this is being picky.
