This is a very pretty cobalt blue John Ryan in great shape. It's one of the few southern sodas having the hat type taper top. This is #116 in Russ Butler's book on Georgia sodas and is the John Ryan Type 7 in David Kyle Rakes' 2022 book, "Early Georgia Sodas: The Bottles and Their Proprietors." The top is applied and the bottom is smooth-based. A similar one sold on eBay in Nov. 2023 for $660.

Condition: Excellent - perfect structurally with no chips, cracks, bruises or dings. Clean. Only issue is light scratchiness and spotty light wear. It looks like it was lightly polish cleaned. A very nice example and not overtumbled.
