Circa 1865-1875 Saratoga NY Mineral Water - Congress & Empire Spring
From the Neil Moore collection auctioned in late 2023, this is a splendid example of this classic Saratoga. It has loads of whittle character in the glass, an applied double taper top and a crisp mold impression. Embossed: CONGRESS & EMPIRE SPRING CO / C (large open block letter) / SARATOGA N. Y. // CONGRESS / WATER Height: 7 7/8" Condition: Near mint - there is a teeny sliver off the collar that is barely there and mentioned for accuracy. Plus a few very light scuffs and wear only in a few spots. Otherwise, clean as a whittle and structurally perfect with no chips, cracks.
