This is a splendid example of this classic stoneware mead, with clear debossing and no chips or hairlines. Circa 1865, Philadelphia, PA. It's crude too, the top tilts a bit.

Color: beige with tan and brown dimple speck pattern
Condition: Near mint - structurally perfect (no dings, chips, cracks), just a slight no harm shallow nick near base (<1/8"). Great bottle.
