From the inventor of soda, this is a classic pontiled Philly bottle. It is the chunky shape version with long neck and an applied tapered blob. Nice pontil too.

Embossed: E. ROUSSEL (large open block letters) / PHILADA

Condition: displays attic mint with hardly any wear and clean. It also has a stronger embossing strike than most of these block letter sodas. Only issue, which is from manufacturing, is an annealed 1/4" open bubble on the heel, with a nearby protruding small potstone and a couple fleabite nips, all in the same area of the heel, no real issue but mentioned for completeness.
