This circa 1860-1865 pint flask is listed by McKearin as GXI-9. The top is applied with a ring. The bottom is smooth. It's crude and won't stand upright.

Condition: Excellent - structurally perfect (no dings, chips, cracks), spotty light trace wear, and some spotty light stain/haze. A really nice example with a bold strike. Normal base wear authenticates this hasn't been tumbled.
