Here is a Richardson squat variant I have never seen, must be pretty scarce. It is smaller than most and has the "& Son" line on the front, and just a large filled R on the reverse. Civil War era. It has an applied double taper top and a smooth bottom.

Condition: excellent - near perfect structurally with no major chips, dings, cracks, potstones, etc. The collar has a teeny rough spot that you need to feel for, and a no har, 1/8" shallow open bubble on the heel underneath - both mentioned for total accuracy. Pretty clean, just trave haze in a few spots. Hardly ay wear.
