Circa 1875-1880 Erie Railroad / Davids Dual Labeled Amber Master Ink

This is an oddity and a nice crossover collectible (inks and railroads). There are actually 3 different labels on this small master ink. The first is the Thaddeus Davids ink company label from New York. The second is one that simply says Railroad Compnay. And the third is a Erie Railroad store label from New York. The bottle has a small spout and is hand tooled.

On Partial Labels: THADDEUS DAVIDS COMPANY / ERIE RAILROAD COMPANY / STATIONARY STORE, PIER 20, N. R., N. Y. / RAILROAD COPYING ...

Height: 8 1/2"
Color: deep amber

Condition: an attic found bottle that is structurally perfect with no chips, dings, cracks or bruises. Very clean and wear free. But see pics for condition of the various labels. The worst is the original Davids label which is mainly scuffed away, but the other 2 labels are decent with discoloration.

Reference Number:  GW240

Price: $128
