Circa 1865 Cobalt Blue M. McCormack - Nashville Pontiled Soda
This is a very crude example of this pontiled Tenessee soda. It has large strtech bubbles in the neck, and the pontil is in a kickup base. The blob top is a bit oversized, hand applied. Embossed: M. McCORMACK (large wrap-around block letters) / THIS BOTTLE IS NEVER SOLD Height: 7 5/8" Color: light cobalt blue Condition: structurally perfect with no chips, dings, cracks etc. Pretty clean, just patchy light haze on spots. This has never been tumble cleaned and there are some light scratches and trace wear that could be polished easily if desired. Reference Number: GW187 Price: $199 |
