Circa 1860 Hampton's V. Tincture - Mortimer & Mowbray Balto.
This is a classic Baltimore colored medicine that comes in diverse colors. This is a late 1850's or early 1860's example with a snap case (hinge mold) bottom and a crude applied ring top. Embossed: HAMPTON'S / V. TINCTURE / MORTIMER / & MOWBRAY / BALTO Height: 6 7/8" Color: orange-hued amber Condition: an uncleaned dug example with a 1/2" chip off the right side of the ring top (see pic below), plus overall swirl etch wear and stain.
