Circa 1860 Hampton's V. Tincture - Mortimer & Mowbray Balto.

This is a classic Baltimore colored medicine that comes in diverse colors. This is a late 1850's or early 1860's example with a snap case (hinge mold) bottom and a crude applied ring top.

Embossed: HAMPTON'S / V. TINCTURE / MORTIMER / & MOWBRAY / BALTO

Height:  6 7/8"

Color: orange-hued amber

Condition: an uncleaned dug example with a 1/2" chip off the right side of the ring top (see pic below), plus overall swirl etch wear and stain. This could be tumble cleaned nicely, but it has great character and patina as is. Priced accordingly.

Reference Number:  GW151

Price: $89
