This is a super nice quart-sized pontiled rum or port. Loads of little bubbles and hammered character in the glass. The shoulder is higher on one side than the other, and it tilts a bit to one side. The pontil scar is wide, probably a British bottle. Applied taper top with collar. Circa 1820-1840.
Height: 10 3/8"
Color: blackish olive green
Condition: near mint - perfect structurally, clean, only trace wear on base. There is a 1/2" shallow open bubble on the one side, no harm.
