Chicago Mug-Based Early Soda - W. H. H.
This is very pretty and early hutch-shaped blob soda with interesting tapered shoulders and heavy mug-based bottom, circa 1865-75. It has an applied blob and is in a super nice cornflower/sapphire blue. Embossed: W. H. H. / CHICAGO / ILL. // W. Mc. C. & Co. Height: 7 3/8" Color: medium cornflower blue, similar to sapphire blue Condition: excellent, perfect structurally and clean, with a nice strike. There are some scratches and spotty wear that keep it from being near mint, but they do not detract and could likely be tumbled out. No need though, a super attractive bottle!
