Rare Philly Squat Porter - GAFFNEY

Circa 1855, this is late pontiled Philly squat that is very hard to find. When seen, it is almost always smooth based, so pontiled examples are very rare. This one has a weak pontil. Nitce applied double taper top.

Embossed:   JNo GAFFNEY / PHILA (in rectangular slug plate)

Height:  7" 
Color:  deep teal green

Condition: near mint - perfect structurally and nice and clean. Just a bit of very spotty and very light scratchiness mentioned for complete accuracy.
